How this develops
Sinusitis is actually caused by an imbalance in Prana Vata (sub dosha of Vata that governs the brain, head, and the mind) and Shleshaka Kapha (sub dosha of Kapha, which governs lubrication and moisture balance).
When these two sub-doshas gets imbalanced, another complication arises (Ama). It is the sticky waste-product of digestion, gets mixed with Shleshaka Kapha in the sinus area, forming Shleshma. Shleshma settles in the area and blocks sinus. Due to the restriction and blocking, Pitta dosha also gets imbalanced.
When all three doshas are out of balance, distress happens. As a result, microbes, allergens, or viruses grow inside the body. Environmental pollution, stress, fluctuations in weather, and food habits such as eating excessive amounts of cold, sweet, heavy foods, staying up late at night, or not getting enough exercise can trigger this imbalance.

Due to the increasing pollution, the inner skin of the nose gets injured. To balance that, our body produces more nasal secretions & sneezes to pull out this dirt and dust.
If these secretions are not allowed to expel out (with anti-allergic medicines or inhalers), they sit in all sinuses and further causes irritations. This leads to severe headaches.
What you can do
1. Cover nose with a mask, scarf or helmet while leaving the house.
2. Secretions should not be blocked. It should be freed up.
3. Take Nasya treatment
